Jan Sverker came up with a great storytelling concept for this film, where humor and exaggerated examples, seek to explain how a world without SAP would look like. We created a story where everyday scenarios was key to stregthen the message.

New Blood is a welcome film introducing the history and heritage of Carlsberg to new employees worldwide. It brings the heritage to life by using the founding fathers as storytellers and presents the story in a new, inspiring and surprising way.

 

The story connects Carlsberg of today with the heritage and history of Carlsberg introducing new employees to “who we are”, “what we stand for”, “the founders’ vision” and “the history of Global Carlsberg”. The film is developed in close cooperation with former CEO Cees t’Hart, HR and Communication in Carlsberg.

The power of storytelling

Our goal with this film was to create something that captures Carlsberg’s unique identity and purpose in an impactful, non-conventional way, inspires, instills pride, and connects the many Carlsberg people in 30+ markets through the power of storytelling and being part of something bigger.

I can say with confidence that we succeeded in doing so. Needless to say, the acting, directing and overall execution is world-class – as mentioned in one of the comments below. Beautiful work!
